The portfolios are managed to maximise income generation and capital preservation. Emphasis is on active management through our contacts in the property sector, and long-term holder status.
3PM’s biggest value add is that we are well placed to pick up lines of stock at a discount to their ruling market price. This is thanks to the relationships we have fostered with fund managers, corporate financiers, stockbrokers, analysts and bankers over the years.
Our service levels set us apart from our competitors, as we meet personally with our clients on a bi-annual basis. In addition, our clients receive a quarterly report detailing their investment performance. We encourage regular interaction with clients in order to fully understand their changing needs.
We currently manage 250 private client portfolios with funds under management in excess of approximately R2 billion. Each portfolio is managed according to the client’s unique investment requirements, and takes into account the investor’s risk profile, time horizon, tax consequences and any other special requirements the client may have.

This portfolio is constructed to provide a healthy, growing income stream to investors. A typical cash investor would be a retired individual who requires income, or, alternatively, an investor who has a lower risk appetite, and would prefer not to leverage the investment.

Wealth creation over the medium to long-term.
With this investment the client uses the bank's balance sheet to create an asset which is paid off in approximately 10 years. Clients then receive an annuity income to supplement their existing earnings. This investment is tax efficient as the client can offset borrowing costs and the annual administration fee from the gross income received. The investment is totally flexible – the client may inject additional funds or sell at any time without any cancellation fees from 3PM or the lending institution, providing the client has not fixed the interest rate.
